Welcome Back

Sit down to play poker for the first time in a few weeks
Join a .50/1 game short with $35
Wait for the BB
First hand get QQ in the BB

Raise, reraise before me so I flat and then all the money goes in on an 8 high flop.

His AA wins.

I knew he had AA when he reraised after I lead out on the flop.

Not playing for ages makes it harder to fold pretty cards.

The bad beat part is knowing I didn't listen to my read solely due to lack of practice.

How many times do I say that !

This wagon's rolling again, with a stuttering start :o)

Surprise !

I'm still here. Apologies all round for my 3 week sabbatical. It's my typical male lack of commitment personality. Entirely my own fault for promising a video and raising expectations. You see as soon as I know something is expected of me it turns from pleasure to chore, and my subconcious feels the need to lower your expectations. That's part of the reason you will be constantly impressed by me. I do a very good job of managing expectations in the "low" zone.

If you're lucky I might post here again in the next week. (see what I mean) Normal service could be resumed.

In the meantime I have over 1000 posts in my blogreader to catch up on.

See you soon
