Welcome Back

Sit down to play poker for the first time in a few weeks
Join a .50/1 game short with $35
Wait for the BB
First hand get QQ in the BB

Raise, reraise before me so I flat and then all the money goes in on an 8 high flop.

His AA wins.

I knew he had AA when he reraised after I lead out on the flop.

Not playing for ages makes it harder to fold pretty cards.

The bad beat part is knowing I didn't listen to my read solely due to lack of practice.

How many times do I say that !

This wagon's rolling again, with a stuttering start :o)

Good to see you around again.

Think of that hand this way - it can only get better!

I know how you feel about the QQ hand. When you dont play for a while card discipline starts to fade and its harder to fold hands. Take a few beats though and it will come back. Good hunting!
